I published the last post and that fast 2 people one "just a relative" a dear Nephew
and one a dear blogger friend who feels much like me..
I read her blog love it and relate . We are in the same place in life.
I have a family blog.. for nothing more than for my family to know how much
I love them and how dear they are to me.. For me to write my frustrations and
accomplishments.

Linda, glad to hear that you're not going anywhere.
I'm constantly re-evaluating for myself why I blog. I can certainly get caught up in it at times. When that happens I take a breather and remind myself why I do it.
And I always come back to the same reason as you found.
I blog for me.
I love documenting my life and sharing it with others. I'm also inspired by so many bloggers (like you!) around this beautiful world of ours. It constantly reminds me how wonderfully connected we all are in this life.
We learn and we grow from our own experiences AND the experiences of others.

there's many reasons why some have so many followers and traffic....and one main reason - and that is they comment on other blogs, even if they could care less- they comment to receive comments in return.
don't fall into that trap.
blog for you and your family and those of us who do stop by now and then....
it's a great way to journal and you can even make your blog into a book-(i've done a few of those)
keep it up and no mind to the popularity....some of my most favorite sites have only a few comments each post...

I think as bloggers I have seen about everyone question at some point why they blog.
