As Fall fast approaches it brings with it the 1st Birthday of our grandson
Kenner Jackson Rausch
It is also the 1 year anniversary of the day we lost him to prematurity.
November 13 2009. His Story is here on his Mommy's blog I am Me.
As we all know, October is, pregnancy and infant loss awareness month and there is a free event coming up that Utah Share is hosting.
It is called Walk of Rememberance and Hope
The Walk to Remember is held in memory of all babies who are gone too soon. We walk in memory of the steps they will never take.
The 2009 Walk to Remember will be held Saturday, October 10, at Layton Park, at the Ed Kenley Amphitheater. Registration is at 9:30, followed by the program at 10:00. There will be a balloon release and refreshments.
T-shirts and hoodies for the walk are available. Orders must be received by Monday, September 21. The order form and pricing for the shirts is in the September/October 2009 Newsletter, and can be printed at Their blog Even if you are not planning on purchasing a t-shirt, you can submit your baby's name(s) to appear on the t-shirt.
There is also An event in Salt Lake City on October 17th at 1:00 pm at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery up by the Hogle Zoo.
Go to Utah Share for more information on the Salt Lake City event.

Hi-
Your blog is beautiful. Of course you can take Kenner's butterfly. Do whatever you wish with it. I'd love to email it to Emalee too. Take Care

So sorry for your families loss of that beautiful, sweet angel.
Even when we know where they go it is still such a hard thing to lose a little baby.
Beautiful post in honor.
