several years ago i started what i call "the blue and white quilt" it has gotten 1/8 of the way done because there are always more important projects to come along something for someone else.. this quilt is going to be for grumpy when it is done. i did say i will get it done. i am going to make it my project for this spring.

here are just a few of the blocks these are just pieced blocks.. piecing any way i feel at the time. the color is weird on this camera.
but you can tell they are blue and white.

I wish I could quilt. I wish I could sew. Anything having anything to do with sewing is a bust for me. I couldn't even pass Home Ec in 8th grade without my dad sewing the skirt for me (yes--my dad can sew and pretty well I might add).
I looks like it is going to be beautiful. I can't wait to see the finished quilt!!

It is going to be beautiful. What a great skill to have.
One of my memories of my grandma is going into her house with the quilt set up in the dining room. I remember crawling underneath it, as she and her friends worked on the quilt. A different time, but such a great memory.
