Diagnosis:
Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Diabetes...

Recently I have been going  through periods of extreme fatigue, pain and malaise...

This in turn makes me depressed or anxious. I started to feel guilty on those days but now I realize that feeling guilty only extends the fatigue, depression, malaise....so, I nap when my body says it's tired, relax when it says it's stressed.

It is important with Lupus  to listen to my body....it always tells me what I need. I can not feel guilty about that which I  have zero control over; I have to learn this to deal with it.

I hope the people in my life take the time to research Lupus
That they might understand better what I am experiencing. Despite looking just fine outwardly.

"THE WOLF"....it's not a easy thing to understand it requires patience and time......
I know I will still have problems caused by this crippling disease ...but they will be less and less since the medication I am on is starting to help..

I will just focus on the good days I do have....the little success....

So if I complain to much on the bad days, I hope you will  please stick with me.

I don't want to make it all about LUPUS

but,  I do need to make it all about ME!

A few facts:

Lupus is not always easy to diagnose. Lupus varies extremely from patient to patient, and can also change greatly within hours, days, months, or years for any individual patient.  Between patients, it can range from being a mild disease which needs only periodic monitoring by a health care professional, all the way to a life-threatening condition.  It is also largely invisible.  Some of the sickest patients often look well.  In addition, complications such as weight gain coupled with the overwhelming fatigue which is a common lupus symptom can give the false impression of laziness instead of illness.

Some of the many symptoms of lupus are: joint pains, joint stiffness, joint swelling, extreme fatigue, pain in the chest when breathing deeply, headaches, fevers, skin rashes, anemia, butterfly-shaped red rash across the cheeks and nose, sensitivity to the sun, hair loss, mouth or nose ulcers, weight loss or gain, mood swings, depression, difficulties with thinking, memory and concentration, blood clotting problems,
kidney problems, seizures.

Rheumatoid Arthritis: is very common in people with lupus. There may be pain, with or without swelling. Stiffness and pain may be particularly evident in the morning. Arthritis may be a problem for only days or weeks, or may be a permanent feature of the disease. Fortunately, the arthritis usually is not crippling.
