Day 2: Love is kind
Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.
—Ephesians 4:32
TODAY’S DARE
In addition to saying nothing negative to your spouse again today, do at least one unexpected gesture as an act of kindness.
Tomorrow: day 3 love is not selfish.

TODAY’S DARE
In addition to saying nothing negative to your spouse again today, do at least one unexpected gesture as an act of kindness.
Today's dare sounds like another easy one: continue to be patient, don't say negative things, and add in an unexpected act of kindness. I am not sure what kind of thing I am going to do fo the kindness.

I guess as the day progresses I will see.
I can, and will, continue to work on employing greater patience with Grumpy, (and Sarah,) because it is such a simple way to effect a positive change in our home. It merely requires me to take a deep breath and think before I speak. That, I can practice and do!
Tomorrow: day 3 love is not selfish.

If I DON'T mention his socks on the side of the bed, does that count as doing something kind?

Sounds like great advice. I think I will give my husband a foot rub tonight. He is always grateful for that. :-)
