and then I get bashed.. people can be so mean.
I often wonder if it is worth the whole thing..
I think I might take my blog private and play by myself..

I will never understand why someone would feel the need to 'bash' someone else on their own blog....
HELLO people! If you don't like it, go away. I mean, who reads a whole book and then complains about how bad the book was? Or watches a two hour movie that was horrible from the begining and wants their time back? Close the book, turn off the movie, read someone elses blog... sheesh.

I also am at a loss as to why people are mean to others on their blogs. I know it happens, as I have heard about it from others as well, but I just don't understand it at all. However, I think those who are nasty are still in the minority. Most bloggers probably want to be supportive--as all the boggers I know also want to have support.
I am sorry for any mean thing anyone has said to you. Shame on them!

I'm so sorry that you were hurt. It really does expose oneself to the possibility of it happening when you blog, but yet, you still hope that everyone will play nicely.

It sure shows how different people are, eh? Some people just can't resist (it's almost like they purposely look for things to pick at) being mean & even worse, cruel.
I'm sorry that you've been hurt. Right now I'm getting all the sex shop commenters & I'm still not certain why. The cruel ones are in the minority though. Remember that!

Great vent! I think every blogger gets stung now and again from some mean, hurtful comment.
I actually just stopped following someone because every comment I saw her leave on mine or anyone elses blog was just plain snarky. Never anything positive or upbeat. Just snarky.
I like the mentality of if you don't like me, then move on!

Ten bucks says they posted anonymously. Am I right? I find it amusing and rather sad that people feel free to act rudely--as long as they don't use their name. If you're going to be mean, then have the courage to do it under your name! Some people's kids...
Try not to let it bother. There are those who get their kicks by being jerks. And if you do go private, I hope I get an invite.
