i got a library card..
the last time i had one this is how you checked out the books..
now you scan your card,

I kind of miss the old card system to tell you the truth - I guess I am an old fashioned girl at heart.
I took my youngest son to get his very first library card the other day. He was thrilled and he also checked out an audio book :D
He loves to read so this will just keep his interest through the summer.

Our library just got hte new electornic system last year. My kids love it. They think it's like checking out the groceries at the store.
I love love audio books. Super handy for those car rides, long walks or cleaning the house.

I love my local library! My library card is a bar code, too, but it fits on my keychain, along with my supermarket frequent shopper cards.

I have a small library here at home ( I tend to read fav books over and over again ) I just joined Goodreads online ( so I need to get busy and read one never read book ) and I cannot remember the last time I visited the library, but my card does have a bar code on it...I'm thinking I need to get over to my library and see what new there... Thanks LOL !
