~~Tetris ~~
possibly the most popular casual computer game of all time .. celebrates its 25th anniversary TODAY!. its creator is, Alexey Pajitnov
Practically everyone has heard of it and anyone can play it, even those with little or no experience. The concept is so simple. perhaps it is the very simplicity of the game that makes it so addictive. in Tetris, you rotate falling geometric shapes on a rectangular playfield; completing horizontal rows of blocks makes them disappear and gives you points. It's a format that has been relentlessly duplicated and evolved over the years.

this game has given this daughter of mine many years of excitement and fun!
there is even a "board game" so those without a computer or gaming device can still play
no discrimination...

Thanks for stopping by my blog (and becoming a follower). Was beginning to think I was the only grandma out here. Melinda became "Lindy" when I was very young and kinda stuck.
When my kids were young and had gameboys I used to sneak in a game of Tetris now and then. Happy weekend!

I love tetris! And you're right that everyone can play it. It's even the only game I downloaded onto my phone.

We all loved this game in my family and then my mom became addicted to Dr. Mario, a similiar game.

Tetris is like Rubik's cube to me...stressful and impossible...I'm no good at them either...but then, I always died after about 30 seconds playing Ms. Packman...UGH !
