Appreciate yourself? WHAT? who does that...
Do you give yourself enough appreciation? In this world we are constantly told that it is more important to be approved by others than it is to approve of ourselves. It feels SO good to receive compliments and praise from those around us. We seek approval from the ones we love every day., but it is more important that you are satisfied with your own achievements and the way you are. We all need to learn how to compliment ourselves appreciate what we are.
WHO YOU ARE..
it is not dangerous.
try it it might be fun.
"You cannot be lonely if you like the person you're alone with."
~ Wayne W. Dyer
~ Wayne W. Dyer
Do you think you can try giving yourself compliments? How about everyday? Start with little ones.
"Gramee I like the way your hair looks today"
Make it a habit to recognize when you have done something worth while, take the time to praise yourself .. By believing in yourself and trusting your own judgment, you will find peace of mind . Your inner voice is far more powerful than anything you receive from the world outside. .So don't go looking for approval from outside until you have found it withing yourself. Praise those accomplishments, even if they are minor.
WE ARE IMPORTANT.
and sometimes we forget ,
to look in the mirror.

LJ, I am on a LIFE LESSONS writing list. I haven't felt like writing lately because it all seems to have my hurt feelings in it, I'm a debbie downer (no offence to any debbies, PROMISE)
BUT I do read. I read something powerful and I'm just hoping for time to do it myself.
Write out a PRAYER to GOD. Dig deep. TELL HIM EVERY THING..grateful, help me, ETC. I can't wait to do this. Felt impressed to share!
It all starts because WE KNOW WHO WE ARE! Daughters of God!
I love you!

This post is awesome. None of us take time to tell ourselves how wonderful & beautiful we are. I don't think I ever really have since hs & that's been way too long ago. Thank you for the reminder that we're/I'm a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father who knows how beautiful we/I am whether we/I think so or not.

While I can't quite bring myself to admire myself--I have started looking at myself in the mirror and thinking "not bad for 52". Maybe one day I'll be able to drop the "for 52" part and just appreciate being able to move, hear, and see as I desire. Thanks for the reminder!
